We then need to consider the tally and how it affects the workshops and how you choose members for group projects.

Classroom Layout

Before the next session, we need to have agreed on a classroom layout and set it up.

We will have two kinds of activity in the workshops:

One: Presentations to the whole class for skill development or understanding of concepts. For this kind of activity, you will need to be able to see the large screen and have access to a computer.

Two: Group work where you will work on your projects in groups of about 4. You will need a work area which is conducive to group work with an area to plan and lay out papers as well as a computer to use.

Your projects will be presented to the whole conference during the final session on Thursday.

Log ons, folders etc.

You will need to understand something about the network:

How to connect to the network,

How to find resources,

How to set up personal and group folders

How to share files with your group and others.

How to publish your work on the Internet.

Keep your own notes to help you with this.
