Travel Buddies

This provides an excellent starting point for information on travel buddies as well as some examples. Travel Buddies are very motivating and can be used across the primary years.

Postcard Geography

North Parmelia Primary School has undertaken a number of collaborative projects. Ideas similar to Postcard Geography can be used across a range of schools and year levels.

Collaborative Stories

Students from North Parmelia Primary School collaborated with students from a school in Wales to write stories. The Welsh students started the ball rolling writing the first paragraph. These were emailed and the Australian students added the next paragraph and the stories continued.

How Much Does It Cost?

Students from North Parmelia Primary School and Fremont Elementary School in Bakersfield California compared the costs of various items. This is an interesting project using a number of on line sites to help students develop their understandings.
