Lesson Accelerators are ready to use ICT projects providing exemplars for ICT use in the curriculum. They are complete with resources and step by step tutorials to provide scaffolding for teachers and students using ICT in the classroom. They are a great support for teachers who are nervous about using ICT with their students. Examples: Adding direct links to Lesson Accelerators to your learning portal is a great way to build skills and create ideas. Nominate a member of staff or a team to work through the Lesson Accelerators, identify ones that are matched to your curriculum and notify teachers of them. You can quickly preview every Lesson Accelerator by clicking on the video camera icon next to its name. A full catalogue of Lesson Accelerators sorted by learning area can be downloaded from: New Lesson Accelerators are added every six weeks. This is updated every 6 weeks and the link will always download the latest version.

| Newsletter | Make sure you are signed up for the newsletter and encourage other key staff to sign up too (or do it for them). When you receive the newsletter (every six weeks), forward it to all your staff or suggest that they have a look at the online version

| Workshops | Regularly suggest that all your staff and students look at a relevant workshop series such as: Web 2.0 Workshop

Create customised competency checklists for key skills that students need at various points in their school career and insist that they all complete them. Examples: To make a direct link to a single tutorial use where the key number is foud from the tutorial listing or search results. If you need help to create these please contact me

| Check the Full Tutorial List | Regularly check the full catalogue of software to make sure you haven't missed any new additions and send the link to your staff regularly
| Face to Face Follow Up | In face to face PD workshops always show Atomic Learning during the workshop so that participants don't have to make notes on the detailed skills in the workshop and can focus on pedagogy. Follow up the next day with an email with direct links to relevant series and individual tutorials. A good example of this is whiteboard training.
